New Zealand brother-sister duo Broods have finally dropped their first single from their upcoming sophomore album, titled 'Free'. The track is a signal of the duo's future direction with a step towards a heavier, industrial sound.
The single features an intense and powerful chorus led by frontwoman Georgia Nott which is backed by a propulsion wave of synthesisers and booming drum beats. Co-written and Co-produced by Joel Little, Broods make bold step into new territory which shows their commitment to growth outside the pop music sphere.
Currently on tour with Ellie Goulding, 'Free' has seen a gigantic response from music outlets worldwide. The single is currently the most played track on Triple J.
Keep a look out for a sophomore album to be released soon.
